Sysmex XN-350 offers single sample analysis in open mode. It has a fully integrated IPU (information-processing unit), including an LCD color touchscreen – so you do not need a separate computer to operate the analyzer. It incorporates the proven Sysmex technologies of fluorescence flow cytometry, hydrodynamic focussing, and our cyanide-free SLS method for determining hemoglobin.
Ready for the future, it can be upgraded by adding new clinical and productivity values or by opting for further professional services and connecting to our Extended IPU as your demands change.
The performance of the XN‐350 is comparable to the XN‐1000 in both whole blood and body fluid modes, making it a reliable alternative to larger analyzers for smaller, niche laboratories.
Sysmex XN-350 is a fully automated 6-part differential hematology analyzer. The XN-350 offers a single sample analysis in open mode. It has a fully integrated IPU (information-processing unit), including an LCD color touchscreen that makes it easy to operate.
This innovative solution maintains the Sysmex tradition of confidence in the results since it uses the technology of fluorescent flow cytometry for the differential count, including immature granulocytes (IG) in all the hemograms, in addition to the methodology of impedance and hydrodynamic approach for the count. Accurate erythrocyte and platelet counts and cyanide-free sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) method to determine hemoglobin.
XN-L Series is the latest compact fully-automated 6-part differential hematology analyzer by sysmex. It is designed to meet today’s laboratory needs by providing enhanced clinical values that only high-end models previously provided while improving operational efficiency in the laboratories. XN-L Series is available in three models with different aspiration modes.
Sysmex XN-350 Features:
- Integrated color display with an intuitive interface that allows the user to manage their routine tasks easily.
- A reagent management system displays the number of tests available and expiration dates, allowing efficient tracking of reagent usage.
- Compact design with an integrated IPU that easily fits on any lab bench or smaller footprint.
- Only 25µL of aspiration volume.
- Automatic dilution function.
The XN-L Series delivers specialist solutions for labs that need to offer niche diagnostics. Dedicated functionalities support the following medical specialties:
- Pediatrics. Low aspiration volume of 25 μL plus the availability of an IG count and HFLC* information with every DIFF analysis.
- Dialysis centers. The RET-He parameter (with RET) and CAPD measurement (with XN-BF) for monitoring patients.
- Neurology wards. Dedicated analysis for various body fluids (with XN-BF) – fast and available 24/7.
- Oncology. Precise and accurate measurement of leukocytopenia samples (with L-WBC) helps, for example, to obtain reliable neutrophil counts during chemotherapy.

“The XN-Series has been our flagship hematology analyzer line and today we expand our offering by introducing the XN-L Series to meet the demands of lower-volume facilities,” said Andy Hay, chief operating officer.
The XN-L automated hematology analyzers offer a 6-part differential including immature granulocyte analysis (IG) on each sample – all in a compact footprint.
“With an XN-L analyzer, clinicians can rely upon the same expanded complete blood count (CBC) featured in our XN-Series analyzers to assess and monitor patients. This expanded CBC goes well beyond the 3-part differential that is currently available to most of the low volume segment today and can aid in the assessment of sepsis and other hematological disorders,” said Hay.
Cell enumeration and differential data produced by the XN-350 were compared to manual chamber counting results in 63 cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), 51 ascitic fluid, and 51 pleural fluid (PF) samples.
The XN-350 also showed good correlations with Cytospin analyses for differential counting of neutrophils, lymphocytes, and monocytes in PF samples. The differential counting of eosinophils via the XN-350 and Cytospin were not significantly correlated, but the difference between them was not significant.
The Sysmex XN-350 is an acceptable alternative to manual fluid analysis. Samples with low cellularity around the LOQ should be checked manually. Moreover, manual differential counting should be performed on CSF samples, particularly those with low cell numbers.
